Diverging monetary policies across the region have significantly influenced asset performance over the last three months.

• Fixed Income: Government bond returns were strongest in Thailand and Indonesia. APAC government bond spreads to UST narrowed in October due to stronger economic data. The government bond curve steepened in China.

• Equity Performance: China and Hong Kong advanced significantly, driven by substantial monetary easing. Tech stocks drove Taiwan’s equity outperformance, while Korea’s equity lagged. Thailand equities led ASEAN gains.
