Using Artificial Intelligence (AI) and natural language processing (NLP) technologies, such as ChatGPT, promises to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of technical communicators.
To align AI's potential with technical communicators' needs, Cherryleaf surveyed the techcomm community. The survey aimed to identify key questions, concerns, and interests about using generative AI like ChatGPT in technical communication work.
In this session, you'll learn what the survey uncovered and:
* Gain valuable insights about the opportunities and potential risks that generative AI provides
* Discover a framework for identifying opportunities and best practices for integrating generative AI, such as ChatGPT, into your processes
* Learn about some of the AI software applications, services, and technologies that technical communicators can use to save time and create better output
By the end of this session, we aim to equip you with a better understanding of the skills, tools and approaches you need to embrace in order to use AI technologies in your role as a technical communicator.
