The work landscape is changing rapidly with AI and robotics taking over the future. What skills and knowledge will you need to thrive in the new workplace? We are at a unique point in the convergence of information and technology. Automation and AI are combining to take a central role in our daily lives. This convergence will create a revolution in the workplace as well, as we establish the positions of humans and machines.
What will AI change? Where will humans fit in? Any job that is repetitive can be automated. If it requires logic rather than human lateral thinking, it’s at risk. But it’s not all bad news. Some of us will even flourish in the new AI age. If you’re going to flourish, you’re going to need to upskill. You’re going to need to adopt an attitude of lifelong learning. Keeping up with the changes will be essential to keeping employed.
Join Ann Rockley and CJ Walker as they talk about upskilling for this future: how and what to upskill, how you can adjust your mindset to the new workplace, and what strategies will get you there including:
1) How AI is changing the nature of work.
2) What skills are in demand now and what’s needed for the future
3) How to thrive, not just survive, in the new world of human-machine interfaces
