Teradici Auto-Offload leverages NVIDIA NVENC technology
The rapid transition to work-from-home accelerated use of remote desktop technology across industries and presented unique challenges around user experience. In response, Teradici released important updates to Cloud Access Software to help optimize remote desktop performance and image fidelity when working with graphics-intensive content from home networks with bandwidth or latency constraints.
Teradici PCoIP Ultra™ technology offers multi-codec acceleration via either CPU-based AVX2 hardware or NVIDIA GPU-based NVENC hardware, dynamically switching to GPU-Offload in-session during periods of high display activity. In this video we cover PCoIP Ultra Auto-Offload and the impact on demanding users interacting with high fidelity text, raw video, wireframes and exacting colors - vital for complex CAD wireframes or visual effects artworks. We also share network bandwidth usage and CPU savings benchmarks using a Wacom tablet workload on an RTX Server with NVIDIA RTX6000 GPU
