About this talk

OpenStack is the leading open-source infrastructure-as-a-service cloud software, used by the largest organizations across the world. Since its launching in 2010, OpenStack was brought to life with the mission to "to produce the ubiquitous open-source cloud computing platform that will meet the needs of public and private clouds regardless of size, by being simple to implement and massively scalable." Today, It continues to be one of the top open-source projects in the world in terms of active contributions with over 34,000 individuals and 550 participating companies, all contributing to the development of the free cloud computing platform. OpenStack has allowed many organisations to leverage open source technologies to optimise their infrastructure costs and focus more on their IT strategy to transform their businesses. In this session, we will examine how OpenStack is helping organisations cut down costs and increase innovation, agility and flexibility of their IT.
