Neurosphere formation of human neural stem cells (hNSCs) is a widely used in vitro culture system to study neurogenesis, neural development, neurotoxicity, and neurodegenerative disease models. This system allows for three-dimensional (3D) expansion of hNSCs within a more physiologically relevant microenvironment. Having an easy-to-use, reproducible neurosphere culture and analysis method to understand hNSC dynamics greatly enables their use for drug discovery and cell therapy applications. Roxana Ghadessy is a Technical Marketing Manager for Corning Life Sciences, based in Singapore. In this role she is responsible for product awareness and education activities to highlight Corning’s workflow solutions in cell culture, drug discovery, and other differentiated applications. Roxana has held previous roles in Sales and Product Management at Corning, BD Biosciences, and Tocris. She received her Ph.D. degree in Pharmacology from the University of Bristol.
