About this talk

The current Mexican government recognises that lack of equitable internet access makes it difficult to realise equal access to work, basic education, and public services. It has charged the federal agency, CFE Telecomunicaciones e Internet para Todos (CFE TEIT) with addressing the issue under the “Internet para todos” (Internet for everyone) initiative, making it easier for Mexican citizens to connect. As part of this program, CFE TEIT chose SES to deploy more than 1,100 broadband hotspots across Mexico, connected to the internet via SES-17.
