Courts responded by issuing preliminary injunctions blocking DOGE’s access to key federal databases, including those at the Office of Personnel Management, Treasury, and the Department of Education. These landmark cases underscore ongoing tensions between executive authority, government efficiency initiatives, and statutory privacy protections.
