The European Union’s Network and Information Security Directive 2 (NIS 2) is arguably the most important cyber resilience regulation in the world. NIS2 requires operators of critical infrastructure in 19 different industries ranging from healthcare and public services to utilities and manufacturing to implement appropriate security measures and report any incident to the relevant authorities.
