James Duncan, Director of Digital Transformation and Innovation at Sheridan College shared how he capitalized on his 20+ years of experience in IT in order to bring digital transformation to an industry that is historically resistant to change, and earn a seat at the table of many change initiatives.
Having worked for 20 years in Information Technology at the intersection of people, process, technology and data, James is passionate about the potential of purposeful and transformative change inside the public higher education system. He has spent the past few years developing a greenfield Enterprise Architecture practice at his own institution, as well as collaborating with peers to raise the collective understanding and maturity of EA across the broader sector. James also leads Project Management, Data Governance, and Enterprise Applications functions that collectively drive digital transformation efforts at his organization.
