DORA, also known as the Digital Operational Resilience Act, is an EU regulation that focuses on protecting the financial sector from digital threats.
DORA creates a legal framework for digital operational resilience and management of cyber/IT risks in the financial sector. The regulation will entail a number of changes and new requirements for financial companies, particularly in the form of digital risk management, handling of incidents, testing and supplier relations. Among other things, it will lead to the repeal of some of the current rules for the financial sector, including the management and outsourcing orders.
In this webinar, Christel Teglers from Kromann Reumert will discuss the implementation of DORA, including the managerial and legal aspects such as the link between IT security and risk management, establishing governance in practice, determining risk tolerance, assessment of contracts and insurance as well as documentation and compliance.
