About this talk

Every organization has some level of ethical culture, but according to an Ethics & Compliance Initiative’s State of Ethics in the Workplace Report, only 1 in 5 U.S. employees believed their workplace had a strong ethical culture . To improve their culture, organizations should be prepared to hear and investigate ethical concerns—from inside and outside the organization. Doing so efficiently and consistently will help protect your organizational reputation, your employees and your bottom line. For many HR pros who are involved with workplace ethics programs, one-stop HR platforms that can also be used for recruitment, employee data storage and investigations sound convenient. But while it might be initially cheaper or quicker to buy one solution, ethics will suffer, putting your organization at risk of repeat or missed incidents, non-compliance penalties and employee lawsuits. Attendees will learn how a dedicated case management platform is the right tool to handle employee misconduct and ethics breaches. We will explore how it can help your team to: • Evaluate whether a formal investigation is required • Plan the investigation, including who will be the investigator, objectives and a timeline • Conduct interviews, collect data and documentation • Analyze findings and develop recommendations • Determine corrective actions • Close the investigation, including mitigating future risk
