About this talk

If you’re adopting GitOps patterns to accelerate software delivery, you’re probably also choosing Kubernetes, lured by its flexibility and power. But you’ll quickly discover that standing up K8s clusters across multiple clouds can be challenging… for everyone involved. Application developers find they need to be Kubernetes experts just to test and deploy their code. And platform teams are soon burning hours on provisioning and managing clusters and the whole stack of observability, security and other supporting components. In this session, we’ll show you a better way. We’ll explore how platform teams can benefit from GitOps, providing self-service clusters across any cloud while using the patterns their developers have become accustomed to. We’ll get hands-on with two tools — Spectro Cloud Palette and Hashicorp Terraform — demoing how they work together to simplify Kubernetes cluster provisioning and operations while giving developers the tools they need to ship faster. Presented with CDW’s Digital Velocity team, we will explore how CDW offers the foundation for these platforms, tools and patterns, so organizations rapidly achieve the desired results.
