About this talk

Over the past several months, AMD, Microsoft, and Login VSI have collaborated to evaluate the performance of Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) for Azure Local using both the AMD EPYC™ 9004 and AMD EPYC™ 8004 series processors. AVD on Azure Local allows you to run virtual desktops and applications on Azure infrastructure, but with the advantage of running on-prem, in a hybrid cloud setup. It's like a bridge between your local datacenter and the cloud, letting you use the best of both worlds. Using the massive scalability potential of AMD EPYC™ 9004 series processors on-prem, it’s possible to drive down per-user costs while improving the performance and user experience. In this webinar we will cover: - AVD on Azure Local Architecture - Best practices for unlocking massive performance and scalability with AMD EPYC™ processors - How many AVD knowledge worker sessions a single server can host (hint: it may be a new record in the Virtual Desktop Infrastructure world)
