About this talk

In our previous webinar on Responsible Generative Artificial Intelligence, participants voted overwhelmingly in favor of increased regulation surrounding creating and deploying Generative AI systems. The European Union has been the first to propose regulation. The UK is looking towards a pro-innovation form of regulation, with the US securing voluntary commitments from leading AI companies. Intellectual property is a significant concern, as well as risks to the public, in the areas of bias, privacy, and trustworthiness. On October 4, John Easton of IBM will discuss the potential implications of these emerging regulations, intellectual property concerns, and the role of AI ethics. Cheranellore Vasudevan will provide an overview of the upcoming Responsible Generative Artificial Intelligence White Paper.
