Interviews conducted with TSIA Education Services members reveal that there are a cadre of features and functions education organizations expect their LMS to provide. The reality is, to fulfill all these feature/function requirements, multiple, different systems, not just an LMS, are required. Yet, the unrealistic expectation is that the LMS should do it all, thus resulting in current and ongoing dissatisfaction levels.
