About this talk

As we enter 2024, more companies are making GHG reduction commitments and publishing transition plans, but this new information is challenging for investors to understand and compare across industries and geographies. Global Regulators are also increasingly requiring investors to disclose how they identify, evaluate and manage transition risks in their portfolios, through reporting requirements aligned with TCFD recommendations. Investors acknowledge that to meaningfully assess transition risks, it is important to look beyond stated commitments to evaluate the actions companies are taking to manage climate risks and opportunities. Join us as we explore how data, research and tools can be leveraged to contextualize a company’s exposure to and management of transition risk. We’re honored to be joined by: • Dan Gardiner, Head of Transition Research, IIGCC • Dr. Jane Thostrup Jagd, Director, Net Zero Finance, We Mean Business Coalition • Jared Sharp, Project Lead, Transition Pathway Initiative • Lucian Peppelenbos, Climate & Biodiversity Strategist, Robeco • Pustav Joshi, Associate Director, Climate Solutions, Morningstar Sustainalytics • Alicia White, Senior Product Manager, Climate Solutions, Morningstar Sustainalytics
