Practical BIND 9 Management
dnsdist (https://www.dnsdist.org) is a very useful adjunct to a BIND9 deployment. dnsdist is a "highly DNS-, DoS- and abuse-aware loadbalancer. Its goal in life is to route traffic to the best server, delivering top performance to legitimate users while shunting or blocking abusive traffic."
This series of five webinars, presented by Carsten Strotmann, cover best practices and tips for monitoring and managing your BIND 9 deployment. Sessions 1, 2, and 3 are appropriate for both Authoritative and Recursive applications. Sessions 4 and 5 are primarily focused on Authoritative applications.
