Industry studies have shown that men continue to outnumber women in cyber security despite more women joining the field and taking up leadership positions. In Asia-Pacific. women cyber security professionals still face an uphill climb in some areas. During the webinar, we discussed the issues facing women in cyber security, the challenges of breaking into the field and why it’s important to close the gender gap. Comprising cyber security practitioners and leaders, the panel touched on what can be done to provide learning and growth opportunities, and offered advice for women interested in pursuing or advancing their careers in cyber security.
