About this talk

With NetAlly tools, we can effectively capture the packets that matter when troubleshooting complex network problems. But how can we interpret them and find the root cause? In this two-part series, we will explore how to capture packets with a NetAlly EtherScope nXG, then transfer the packet capture to Wireshark and start digging. Part 1 – Essentials of Packet Analysis with Wireshark and NetAlly Tools The first session will cover capturing packets from an EtherScope® nXG or LinkRunner®, then transferring the file to Link-Live where it can be quickly accessed by engineers and opened in Wireshark. We will discuss how to get started with Wireshark and cover the first steps to take in any packet-level analysis workflow.
