About this talk

Digital twins play a crucial role in enabling new insights, helping organizations better understand and predict the physical world in which they operate. The world of epidemiology is now benefiting from this transformation.  This webinar, Revolutionizing Disease Tracking with Advanced 3D Visualizations will introduce a use case for Infectious Disease Management that illustrates the potential of digital twins for tracking diseases. The webinar is free and open to the public.   This use case, part of the DTC Technology Showcase, features a digital twin platform that links time, spatial, and sensor data with existing enterprise data. This helps epidemiologists gain an up-to-date view of disease spread across large patient populations and diverse environments. Interactive 3D visualizations provide a detailed perspective on patient movements and disease states, offering an unprecedented level of contact tracing and investigation.  The session will explore the versatility of the solution, including:   3D model creation from 2D plans, imported 3D BIM, and on-site mapping;   Data integration with various enterprise data interface types;   Visualization on low-spec PCs, tablets, and VR/AR devices (including HoloLens); and  Deployment flexibility ranging from on-premise PCs to fully cloud-hosted infrastructure.  Presenter: Sean Whiteley, AxoMem Mr. Whiteley has more than 25 years of enterprise IT and innovation experience, working with the world's largest companies through to deep tech startups. Over the past two years he's been co-leading a multi-institution collaboration focusing on a large acute care hospital in Singapore (1,500+ beds) to visualize and predict disease spread for multiple infectious disease types, including respiratory illnesses such as COVID19 and Multi Drug Resistant Organisms (Superbugs). He is the founder of AxoMem.io, which is building a new generation digital twin and 3D analytics and AI platform supporting 3D, VR and AR capable front-end interfaces.
