Couchbase Server 7.0 fuses the structure of legacy/relational databases with the flexibility and scale of NoSQL. If your legacy or mainframe systems are feeling strained, you can offload and/or migrate workloads to Couchbase. This session will show the three basic steps to getting started with an offload or migration effort using automation and semi-automation. First, map your relational model directly to Couchbase. Second, use N1QL, ACID, and SDKs to shift your application code. Finally, refactor your data model and optimize to get the most out of Couchbase. We'll end the session with some practical patterns, tools, frameworks, and considerations to make your transition as efficient and seamless as possible.
