WiCyS Speaker Spotlight Program

The WiCyS Google Cybersecurity Program was developed to provide an understanding of the importance of cybersecurity practices and their impact for organizations. Learners will identify common risks, threats and vulnerabilities, as well as techniques to mitigate them. Hands-on experience with Python, Linux and SQL is also included in the module. The cohort style set up by WiCyS will include technical mentors to help students progress through the program. It is beginner level and does not require any prior experience in cybersecurity.

We use 5G as a case study to explore vulnerabilities in wireless protocols and ways in which new wireless technology protects against these vulnerabilities.
