About this talk

The last time Debbie Reynolds (VP Enterprise Data Solutions and Engineering, Pfizer) and Kurt Muehmel (Chief Customer Officer, Dataiku) were on stage together was in 2018 when they discussed Pfizer’s shift out of analytic silos to analytic democratization. Now, the two are back to discuss how far Pfizer has come since then — how they have been able to put data at the core of everyday business decisions, transform organizational behavior, and embark on the next phase: from democratization to Everyday AI. Debbie is currently Vice President, Enterprise Data Solutions and Engineering at Pfizer. In this capacity, Debbie is responsible for the engineering of data products and pipelines in support of analytics and business operations; data cataloging and ontologies; as well as data acquisition strategy and governance. Her remit covers support for Commercial, Manufacturing, and R&D. She has spent the last 12 years in the data and analytics space holding leadership positions in data and analytic innovation and analytic tools and platforms. She oversaw the implementation and expansion of Pfizer’s analytic workbench and most recently the development and execution of Pfizer’s data cloud strategy. Debbie started her career at Pfizer as a financial analyst in 1992 and had her first foray into data as project lead for the creation of Pfizer’s financial data warehouse in 2003. Debbie holds an MBA in Finance and Accounting from Columbia Business School and a BA in Economics from Cornell University. Without you, it's just data.
