About this talk

Enterprises have an abundance of sensitive data to secure on endpoints, on-premises, in the cloud, and in dynamic applications supported by Generative AI. Enterprise Strategy Group (ESG) notes that about half of this data is unstructured. As such, security teams need to accurately identify sensitive datastores, classify the data, and take steps to secure that data. This requires overcoming obstacles like parsing out stale access and undiscovered “shadow” data outside the purview of IT teams. Join Todd Thiemann, ESG Senior Analyst of IAM & Data Security, and Srikanth Nellore, Senior Director of Product Management at Zscaler, in this fireside chat to examine how data security posture management (DSPM) can de-risk data scattered across on-prem, cloud, and SaaS workloads. Additional agenda items include: • What is data resilience and how does DSPM fit into the picture? • How DSPM provides greater visibility to GenAI data • What to look for when evaluating DSPM approaches • What makes Zscaler DSPM and Data Protection unique?

Back in the day when your users were all on the network and your applications resided in your physical data center, it made sense to establish a secure
perimeter around your network. But those days are over, the perimeter is gone, and network security is all but irrelevant. Instead, you need to put your
defenses and controls where the connections occur— the internet — so that every connection is fast and secure, no matter how or where users connect or
where their applications reside. By moving applications and infrastructure to the cloud and untethering employees from their desks, you can realize treme…
