"DNS is what makes the internet more human. We use it every day to access the internet, SaaS, and private applications. DNS on port 53 is as standard as HTTP/S on port 80/443 traffic and is commonly found in firewalls allow list. Unfortunately, it is the most loosely controlled and monitored traffic. Adversaries know this and use it to their advantage for undetected command and control (C2) communication. Traditional network-centric architecture is incapable of inspecting and stopping these types of tactics. A new approach to DNS security is needed for the cloud-first and mobile world.
Watch this webinar to hear from Stefan Sebastian, Principal Product Manager, Zscaler, and Amy Heng, Product Marketing Manager, Zscaler as they discuss the past, present, and future of DNS security, which includes topics such as:
• How DNS traffic has evolved over the year
• How threat actors abuse this widely used protocol
• Preventing attacks within DNS traffic using a zero trust approach
• Optimizing DNS traffic without compromising performance and user experience"
