Dr. Aasheim is a longtime counseling clinic director, associate professor and mental health professional who specializes in "helping the helpers," which includes medical personnel, first responders, mental health practitioners and educators.
Dr. Moffat Miller works with state education chiefs to help ensure that all students have the opportunity to graduate from high school prepared for college, careers and life. With a deep understanding of education policy at the state and national levels, Dr. Moffat Miller leads CCSSO's efforts to help states deliver equitable education opportunities to every student.
Mark Mitsui is the first Asian American president in the 58-year histo1y of Portland Community College, which educates over 60,000 students annually. He was selected by the Portland Business Journal as Executive of the Year in 2018 and is on a number of boards, including the Governor's Workforce and Talent Development Board.
Albert Shen has spent years immersed in technology innovation. He worked in key roles for both Verizon Smart Communities and Smart Airports. Previously, he was part of the Toyota Mobility Foundation, focused on smart city mobility and sustainable energy investment. Shen has also served as national deputy director of the U.S Department of Commerce, Minority Business Development Agency, during the Obama administration.
