Reducing the Risk Created by the Digitalization of Critical Infrastructure

While the digitalization critical infrastructure and the adoption of Industry 4.0 bring huge benefits it also generates new risk factors. For years we have fought a losing battle trying to reduce the probability of a breach. This battle has cost millions of dollars and consume a huge amount of time and resource. The use of AI by the attackers has shifted the odds even more which means we need to shift our approach. In this session we will look at how putting more focus on mitigating the impact of an attack can have a bigger improvement in resilience than spending yet more money on prevention.
