+ There is a large emerging difference in the relative supply and demand for stock vs government bonds that could influence the medium term allocation to these assets.

Equity markets have pulled back in the last two weeks as investors became more anxious about risks facing the US economy and Russia’s squeeze of European energy supply. In this video, Mark Phelps - CIO Concentrated Global Growth - says that despite market pressures, these tough conditions have not yet proved disastrous for many companies. In recent meetings with companies, Mark has been seeking to identify solid underlying growth drivers, and to uncover those with excessive cost pressure that could threaten margins.
