About this talk

The NVMe® over Fabrics (NVMe-oF™) specifications define a network architecture that supports data transfers over a range of storage networking fabrics. By using NVMe systems with NVMe-oF technology, data centers can readily establish high-performance storage networks with high throughput and low latency. Join David Black and Claudio DeSanti to learn how NVM Express has expanded the NVMe-oF specifications to include vital security features to protect against cyberattacks and enable data centers to establish efficient and secure storage area networks. Attendees will receive an overview of the NVMe-oF security mechanisms and learn about recently standardized security advancements, including improvements to in-band authentication and Transport Layer Security (TLS) usage requirements.
