We are entering a prolonged phase of state interventionism which will blur the lines between government and business and give rise to new risks.

Companies will often be collateral damage in this process, and will also face more volatility and risk from interventionist leaders. In many instances, the borders between government and business will become blurred as states engage in “digital mercantilism”.
