About this talk

Using data around energy consumption is not a new phenomenon, but new metering and monitoring technologies mean that there is now more data than ever to analyse, interpret and turn into action. With Ofgem’s Market-wide Half Hourly Settlement (MHHS) reform on the horizon, this is only set to increase, with a ‘data deluge’ set to hit businesses in the coming years. However, new figures from npower Business Solutions’ latest Business Energy Tracker show that many businesses still don’t have a handle on their energy data, and could be missing out on simple opportunities to reduce energy costs and carbon emissions. This webinar will examine: • Why metering - and what you do with the data - is important • A look ahead to the MHHS and what it could mean for your business • Why this ‘decade of data’ will bring major opportunities and increased innovation, flexibility and net zero progress Presented by Ben Whitelam - Commercial Director, npower Business Solutions & Melissa Giordano - Deputy Director Retail Systems and Processes, Ofgem.
